Last Month - Did you get it correct?
Last month I shared four different facts, only one of them was related to my book. Do you remember what your guess was?
Here are the choices to refresh your memory:
A naked mole rats front teeth can operate separately, like chopsticks
A group of Lemurs is a conspiracy, Jellyfish is a smack, Hippos is a bloat and Ladybugs is a bloom
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was not the only talented musician in his family. His sister, Maria Anna Mozart, was also a musical prodigy. However, due to her sex she was not given the same opportunities as her brother. Unfortunately, none of her music survived.
The loudest sound every recorded was the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa, a volcano in Indonesia. It was recorded at 310 decibels. This is so loud that it ruptured ear drums and could be heard over 3,000 miles away.
Drumroll please….. If you guessed that number 4 was book research, then you would be correct. I am working on building a secret society in my future books and what better place for a secret lair than somewhere no one outside of a time traveler could access (most of the island was destroyed in the explosive eruption)…. I can’t wait to share more later.
The other facts were ones I learned homeschooling my kids or through experiencing life. Right now, I have no plans to include them in any books but that could change. I especially love the idea of including a piece about Maria Anna Mozart but as this point I have no plans for my character to visit that particular part of the world. Maybe one day!
How are you going to do this month?
Here are four more facts, can you tell me which are related to book research and which ones are things I learned homeschooling my kids? Here is a hint, two of the facts are book related and two are from homeschooling.
